TSE Designer Jane Jones has created the most gorgeous beyond the page project this month. A kit will be available for purchase in the store next week, complete with instructions and all the products needed to complete Jane’s project. We’ll tease you will a little sneak peek:

For her final week as our TSE Featured Designer, Fran Tynan worked with My Mind’s Eye Signature Life Buddy kit.

Love - This simply stunning layout maintains focus on the lovely photograph of Fran’s children. A printed paper from the set has been used as the entire background, with a little stitching, a die cut, strip of patterned paper and some journaling a gorgeous layout is created.

Daddy’s Little Buddy - another gorgeous layout incorporating printed paper and die cuts from the same pack. Fran changed the theme of the layout by adding the word “Daddy’s” to the title.
I have personally really enjoyed working with Fran this month and I know from your feedback that you have also enjoyed seeing her creations. Thank you so much Fran for all of your hard work.

Our very talented designer Lou Spiden has put together a fantastic project for you focusing on simply transferring design features from your layouts to cards. Many of you have commented that you struggle with this concept and Lou is here to explain just how easily this can be done. Lou has created a layout as well as five cards, each card includes a different design element from the layout.
We’ve included a sneak peek of Lou’s layout above. Lou’s Page to Card - All About Design project will be available in our Online Classroom in the Forum on Friday - just in time for the weekend.
This week Fran Tynan has been working with Crate Paper Zoom Collection Pack. She’s even ventured Off The Page ….

Fran had long wanted to complete a canvas for her children’s room and the Zoom papers were just perfect. Her son loves tractors so Fran included three tractor photographs and has cut the letters for the Tractor title from the back of one of the printed papers in the set.

Christmas 2006 - initially Fran intended to use her son’s birthday photographs as the focus of this layout. She loved the frame that somewhat looks like a present and the Christmas themed layout evolved from there. The rub ons featured in this layout are also from the Crate Paper Zoom Collection. Fran has completed another two layouts with the products from the kit and still has product left to spare - these kits really are fantastic value for money.
This weekend just passed i managed to find a few hours scrapping time, mind you this really does come at a price - i didn’t get to bed until 2am on Saturday morning. Anyways, here’s a little look at my creation, I won’t give too many details yet as this is part of a set of three items. Stay tuned for more.

If you are looking for more inspiration, be sure to sign up for our store newsletter. We have some fantastic projects on offer this month, designs from the very creative Lou Spiden and Jane Jones. I promise you will be impressed!

Talented Fran Tynan has been working with Three Bugs in a Rug Coco kit this week. Here’s the results:

“Lucy” - Fran loved the pink and green in these papers - and with the touch of brown they were perfect for her niece’s zoo birthday party photos, just the right colour combo. The monograms are so funky she loves them - and included them on both pages - Fran cut some of her own letters out using the monogram sheet as a stencil so that she had the right colour letter for the LO. They are such clean-lined letters they are really easy to handcut, and you can keep the sheet as a stencil.

“Easter Hat Parade” - again the brown, green, pink colour combo was perfect for Fran’s daughters easter hat parade - and the flowers give that funky ‘little girl’ feel. She loved the green which is a whole solid sheet on the back of one of the printed papers - she used it for the background so everything coordinated perfectly and she didn’t have to find matching bazzill.
Fran mentioned to me that she is loving how these kits just go together - she usually wouldn’t purchase a whole kit, just pick out a selection of a range - but this project is changing her mind, all the tags and stickers can easily be included in your projects as journalling labels etc - and they go perfectly. So easy!!
